The Volley Market in Bologna ended with the presentation of the new calendar for the 66th championship. The regular season will kick off on the 24th of October and finish on the 3rd of April 2011.
The season will be filled with various events not to be missed. The Italian Super Cup will take place on the 29th of December between the champions, Cuneo, and the cup winners, Trentino.
The Italian Cup Final Four is scheduled on the 22 and 23 January, together with the A2 Cup.
The climax of the season will be the V-Day (Sunday 15 May), the league final which, like last season, will be played on one single game.
