Vibo Valentia clinched three crucial points against a team that will fight to stay up, Forli. It was a tight encounter and at times the nerves made themselves felt too much. A convincing Simeonov and an outstanding Anderson (MVP) were key in the hosts’ victory.
Vincenzo Di Pinto (coach Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia): “That was a game to win, a tough one against a team that came here with the obligation to get a result. Piero Molducci (coach Yoga Forlì): “We played a good first set, but the game was altered due to two referee mistakes. These mistakes are unfortunately becoming recurrent in this championship. We played poorly in the second set while in the third, the team gave it a fight. We finally surrendered in the fourth. Hopefully, we’ll make a move on the market to improve this situation otherwise we’ll just accept things as they are and go ahead”.
