“I am very disappointed but it was inevitable” said setter Lukasz as he interrupted his experience with his National team with which he counts 140 appearances. “I joined the national team after a long and difficult season, though full of satisfactions, with Trentino and I was ready to give it all to get a prestigious result in the World League and at the World Championships. Unfortunately, the treatment I received was not what I expected. I even trained in a different position than mine in recent weeks although I was physically fit, and things did not even improve after a couple of private chats with the coach. I was not given the same chance to fight for a starting place as the other setters so I was forced to abandon my job with Poland”.
