In the beach volley stage that will take place in Milan, there will also be Macerata’s spiker Matteo Martino, who has been training with Italy’s national beach volley team in the past few weeks. This competition will represent his debut in a national competition.
“I am a bit nervous but it will quickly pass – said Matteo – Beach volley will only be a new thing because this will be my official debut but I’ve always liked to play with my friends on beach. This will obviously be more serious but also more exciting”. Matteo will play in pair with Francesco Vanni.
