Despite the cruel relegation in the A2 for a point after a brilliant second half of season, Castellana Grotte quickly found the enthusiasm and confidence to build something special for the future. Castellana looked for an ambitious coach to take over Gulinelli and found it in Luca Monti. The latter helped Monza to an impressive fourth place after his experience at Crema in the A2.
