There was great interest and curiosity for the stories and anecdotes of Piero Rebaudengo during a meeting open to the public called “The volleyball pioneers, Italy before Velasco”.

“In the 70’s and 80’s, volleyball was not perceived as a proper job – he told – Me and the boys of the Italian national team, we fully enjoyed the experience. We saw this as an opportunity to travel, discover, get to know, see new places and take part in a good game. Volleyball was fun, passion , enthusiasm”.
