Verona announced it reached an agreement with Luca Spirito. Born in Savona in October 1993, Luca helped Cantù win promotion from the B1 and therefore made his debut in the Serie A2 the following season in 2013-14. And he went close from another promotion, only surrendering in game 3 on the playoffs final. Last season, he played for Molfetta. In 2012, he won the gold medal in the European Championships juniors with Italy. He was also part of the senior national team in the recent European Games in Baku.
