Perugia swept Castellana Grotte (A2) en route to the Sieco Service Cup final, in which they will take on the winner of the game between the hosts of Ortona and Molfetta. Castellani’s men did not have the best of game but they handled the clutch points very well. Already without all its internationals, Perugia had to do without Maric too, which means sport director Goran Vujevic put his boots back on, and he made his contribution with his volleyball savvy. Tzioumakas finished top scorer for Perugia with 16 points, while Giovi (74% in reception) and Elia (62% in attack) were other key men of this victory.
