At the end of a two-day collaboration with the German giants of Friedrichshafen, the two teams played a friendly game. Four sets were played but starting from 10-10.
“These have been two positive days – said coach Oreste Vacondio – Yesterday we were present and reactive, it was clear we made some progress. Today on the other hand, we had heavy legs due to the hard work done in recent weeks. But this is a test that will help us to understand a lot of things, though we have to give credit to our opponent. We did not manage to receive their serves with consistency, and that helped them to get some breaks. Besides our serve did not work as we’d have liked, and even when we took risks, they received well”. Next game will be on Friday 2 October at home against Padova.
