Siena secured the services of Leonardo Battista. Born in Bari on 29 March 1995, the young libero came up in Materdomini Castellana Grotte’s youth academy. In the past two seasons he played in the B1 division, first at Club Italia and then at Aversa.
“I was attracted by Siena’s project – said Battista – The club has put together a very strong group, with experienced players and some of them probably worth the level above. This is an important opportunity for me, my goal will be to get better every day, make the most of every training session. I like the context in which I’ll be working, I am extremely motivated”.
