The first new face of Civita Castellana for the new season will be Andrea Ippolito. The 30-year-old spiker-receiver spent his last six season in the Serie A2 at Reggio Emilia and Potenza Picena, which he helped finish seventh last season. He scored a total of 265 points.
“Last year already I had been in touch with the club and they really appeared ambitious – said Ippolito – When they contacted me in May, there was no doubt in my mind, I was certain Civita Castellana was the right place for me. I am sure we will do well this season. Coach Spanakis conveyed such a positive feeling to me when we talked, I really liked that. I already know every single player of the roster, I have no doubt we will be a great united group, which is fundamental to win games”.
