Just a few weeks from embarking on a new adventure with Potenza Picena, libero Cesare Casulli realised an important achievement by winning the Regions’ Trophy as assistant coach of the Apulia team. This was a historical moment for the region as the best previous result had been a fourth place in 1999.
“The bond there was in the large group of players from Castellana Grotte made the difference – said Casulli – This is the result of a good organization, coach Vincenzo Fanizza was extremely confident we could get a great result. From today I am a libero again! I’ll put my experience at the young players’ disposal, I’ll try to help them as much as I can, respecting my role, obviously, because we already have two excellent coaches with Adriano Di Pinto and Luca Martinelli”.
