“We managed to keep important players such as Kody, Dolfo and Silva – said sport director Giorgio Barbareschi in the press conference in which he was officially unveiled with coach James Costi – And we inserted young players with potential. We have given the key to the team to setter Soli, who’s very talented, a product of our collaboration with Modena like Scaltriti and Bevilacqua. And now we are completing the roster, we’re missing one middle blocker besides Norbedo who has just been presented and we’re looking abroad for another outside hitter to line-up alongside Kody”.
Then it was James Costi’s turn to take the mike: “I am very excited about this new challenge. I have to say I did not expect to have such an important opportunity at this time of my career. This proves that one who starts off at the bottom of the ladder can go far by working hard. I am very proud to be here and I promise to give hundred per cent for the club”.
