Ferreira: “Best decision I could make”

“I am thrilled to come back to Italy – said Verona’s new spiker Alexandre Ferreira – I think I could not have made a better decision. This is a young team with a well-prepared coach who likes these kind of teams. A lot of people have told me how great a coach is Giani. Verona is a club that has gotten bigger in recent years and the aim will be to create a team that can go far. Playing in Italy has always been my goal. In the two years I’ve been here (Castellena Grotte, Trento), I learnt so much. The level is so high, you really have to train hard all the time to be ready for each game”.
