Unlike the recent past, Trentino will enjoy having a lot of its players already available when the first training session comes, on August 8. Except for six players committed to their respective national teams (Antonov, Colaci, Gianelli, Lanza, Solé and Van de Voorde) all the other eight players will be present in the gym on the first gathering. New head coach Angelo Lorenzetti and assistant Dario Simoni will therefore be able to work with setter Alessandro Blasi, outside hitters Gabriele Nelli and Jan Stokr, spikers Tiziano Mazzone and Tine Urnaut, middle blockers Matteo Burgsthaler and Daniele Mazzone, and libero Matteo Chiappa. They will all therefore be able to start working early and prepare for the first official games, scheduled on September 24-25 with the Italian Super Cup.
