Molfetta has already taken care of the setter and outside hitter, and now they brought in their first middle blocker: Marco Vitelli. The latter comes from Civitanova and is one of the most promising prospects in Italy. And one of his main moments this season was precisely against Molfetta: it was on February 24, Vitelli scored 10 points at 88% with two blocks and one ace to help his team beat Molfetta and gather the MVP award. Vitalli went to Club Italia for a year in the A2 before returning to Civitanova as back-up of giants of world volleyball like Podrascanin and Stankovic.

“They taught me the way I had to behave on and off the court – said Vitali – Stankovic gave me so many tips, both regarding the game and the mental aspect. It’s a true champion. When I told him about this opportunity in Molfetta, he told me to give everything I have to show what I can do and he told me to have fun because when you do you consequently do well”.
