Piacenza keeps building its roster for the coming campaign and the latest addition is spiker Trévor Clévenot. Born in 1994 in France, the promising talent already shined with his national team at the World League 2015, helping France win the gold medal. At club level he had been playing for Toulouse since 2012. In 2013, he won the French Cup, while he took part in the CEV Cup last season (9th). In 2015-16, he scored a total of 359 points.

“I am really excited to start this new experience in Italy – said Clévenot – This will be my first season outside of France, but these are necessary changes to make progress. Among various clubs, I chose Piacenza, its project is the one that attracted me the most. I wanted to play in a good club so that I could work hard with top players. I think the Italian league is one of the best, maybe the best, every game is difficult, you can’t afford to lose your focus and you must keep a constant rhythm all season. We’ll play the League, Challenge Cup and the Italian Cup, which is interesting but can also be dangerous because we’ll play a game every three days. Playing regularly helps you keep your rhythm but you also have less time to rest. I hope Piacenza 2016-17 can go far”.
