The fixture lists have been revealed on Thursday in the Volley Market 2016 and Spoleto will begin its new challenge in the Serie A2 with a tough trip to Mondovì. Spoleto will be in the BLUE Group with Cantù, Brescia, Mondovì, Montecchio Maggiore, Reggio Emilia, Grottazzolina, Castellana Grotte (Materdomini), Bergamo and Civita Castellana. In spite of being among the giants of Italian volleyball, Spoleto had its moment of glory during the event when sport director Niccolo Lattanzi was called on stage to receve an award for the achievement of being promoted from the Serie B1.
“We have greatly enjoyed this first experience in the Volley Market – said Lattanzi – We have been drawn in a group which will be played mainly in the north, except for Civita Castellana and Castellana Grotte, but regardless of the trips we’ll have to face, we feel we’re ready for this new challenge”.
