Summer training over for U23

The three weeks dedicated to physical training and individual fundamentals for the Under 23 players ended this morning. In a period usually deprived of competition, the club launched this project of organising activities for the many players who recently came out of the Trento youth academy. And all the players made the most of it to make important progress. “It’s been a very interesting period, for me as well as for the boys – said assistant coach Dario Simoni who was in charge of the project – There were many aspects to deal with but we mainly focused on reception and blocking, which are fundamentals that require more accuracy compared to others. I think we obtained good results. For exemple, Daniele Mazzone has improved some of his positioning on court, and you could say the same for Tiziano Mazzone. This was a very exciting group to coach, I did not expect the level of the guys to be that high”.
