Azimut Modena, after Del Monte Supercup winner coach Roberto Piazza part ways from the team, said hi also to american Spiker Brian Cook. With Lorenzo Tubertini on the bench, Modena defeated at the tie break Gi Group Monza, in a come back win. Modena will play versus Exprivia Molfetta, defeated 5 times in 7 total games. Molfetta lost on the home turf versus Perugia, so the team from Puglia need to reverse this trend, trying to grab some points versus the defending Champs, to improve its standings, now in eleventh place.

PREVIOUS MATCHES: 7 (5 Modena, 2 Molfetta)

FORMER PLAYERS: Niki Hendriks Modena 2013-2014.

In Championship and Italian Cup: Giulio Sabbi – 1 game to 200 (Exprivia Molfetta).

Lorenzo Tubertini (Azimut Modena): “My first game as a coach in Monza? It was a great emotion, I catched the moment. I completely focused on the team right now. I’m happy of the game versus Monza, we suffered, I knew we could have some slumps, this is natural in volleyball. Molfetta is aggressive in serve and in defence, we don’t have to give them too much space. They have some good servers, and we will need to stay focused in reception. What we have to do for improve in next games? Versus molfetta as I say we have to be focused and determined in reception, we have some experienced players, they know who they are, we only need to find some continuity and play our way. We have to involve the fans in Modena, we have to show that we can fight and that we want to win. Modena can give us alot”.

Giulio Sabbi (Exprivia Molfetta): “In last two games we lost the focus on the games since the start. When we are in trouble we are not able to react and we did not stay united. We have to go ahead, to play better and fighting in these last four games of regular season. We have to do our best, we have to finish this tournament in the best way possible, for the fans and for who believe in us”.
