Diatec Trentino won a strange game on the home turf versus Gi Group Monza, after a struggling first set and a bad start of the second. After losing first set 25-19, and being down 8-2 in the second, Trento fought back, witha great reaction, thanks to Angelo Lorenzetti who put on court canadian Micholas Hoag in place of a struggling captain Filippo Lanza, and Jan Kozamernik in the middle in place of australian Aidan Zingel. The two players from the bench turned the game, especially Hoag, who in the end gained the Mvp award, putting 17 points n the ground. Winning the second 25-21, Trento took in hands the game, winning easily the third 25-14, and fourth 25-19. Best scorer of the game was serbian hammer Uros Kovacevic with 20 points, Hoag 17, and opposite Luca Vettori 13, after a bad start in attack. On the other side of the net best scorer was Dzavoronok with 16 points, 15 points for the other Czech Michal Finger, and 10 for Ukrainian Plotnytskyi.

Nicholas Hoag (Diatec Trentino): “At PalaTrento happens that we go down in the score, starting with some trouble, but today we were good to react in the toughest moment of the game, increasing our rhythm and taking advantage of the good job we made in the week. It was a good sign for us”.

Rocco Barone (Gi Group Monza): “We had a good start, also in second set, but Trento stepped up in the serve, we suffered their float serve, losing confidence. Too bad, we could have the chance to gain at least one point, would be important for us”.
