Fifth win in a row at Pala De Andrè for Bunge, who forgot the losses versus Civitanova and Latina by winning in four sets over Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia. It was an exciting game, a big fight between two teams who always play some good and spectacular volleyball. In first set good start for the visiting team,  who took the lead on 13-8, then Bunge foight back by trailing until 18-18. In the end Pieter Verhees took advantage of the set point and put the ball on the ground, first set fir Vibo 25-23. In second set Ravenna continued to fight, and the game was always on the edge, balanced, and in the crunch time this time it was Ravenna to step up, taking advantage of a couple of great aces of Mvp Poglajen, who sealed the win in second 25-23. In third the score was balanced once again, with Ravenna who took advantage of a couple of mistakes by Vibo, taking home the set 25-20. In fourth Tonno Callipo collapsed, leaving virtually the game letting win Bunge Ravenna set and match 25-13.

We had some lacks in the break points, in defence we were more or less good, but in attack we made too many mistakes, without being able to find the right continuity”.

Warm audience on saturday night at Candy Arena, with more than 1.600 fans to keep up the big name of Gi Group Monza. It was a great win for Miguel Angel Falasca’s team, after a skid of three losses in a row. Monza took advantage of the big night in the fundamental of serve, with 7 total aces, and a solid game down the net with 14 blocks. Big breaks for Monza in first and second set, seven point’s break in the first and five point’s break in the second, which gave the wins 25-18 and 25-19 in first two sets. In third Vincenzo Di Pinto’s team fought back, fighting until the end in the set and taking how the win at the extras 29-27 in third, cutting the deficit to 1-2 in the count of the sets. But in fourth Gi Group had once again a great start, putting on the court an important break which gave to Monza a strong advantage, that Falasca’s team brought until the end, by winning set and match 25-18. Mvp of the game was Dzavoronok  with 20 points, while the best scorer of the game was Hirsch with 24 points.. On the other side of the net the best scorer for Latina was Sasha Starovic.

Donovan Dzavoronok (Gi Group Monza): “We had a good start, we wante and we needed to win 3-0, we lost the third but we took home the three points, it was very important for us. We hope to find again our enthusiasm and confidence to face the next games, we are a big group”.
Vincenzo Di Pinto (Taiwan Excellence Latina): “Monza deserved the win, they pushed the serve all game long, risking alot and taking advantage of their risks. After the third set, we had some chances in fourth, but we struggled in some situations, losing the chance to reach the tie break. Let’s think how to work in the better way in practice, the results will come”.
