Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia is ready to approach next upcoming 2017/2018 season, with Del Monte Italian Cup eight final approaching next week.
In fact 40th edition of Del Monte Italian Cup is upcoming.
Next wednesday 4th october at 20.30 will start the tournament with the 16th final, which will see involved 4 teams, looking forward the next Del Monte Italian Cup Final Four in 2018.
The hunt for the defending champs Cucine Lube Civitanova, who won in last 28th-29th january in Bologna the 2017 edition, has started.
This week the 16th final, next week 11th and 12th october the 8th final, with the winner of Kioene Padova – BCC Castellana Grotte, will play in Piacenza versus Wixo LPR Piacenza at PalaBanca, and the winner of Biosì Indexa Sora and Revivre Milano, live on RAI Sport + HD at 20.45, will play in Verona versus Calzedonia Verona at AGSM Forum.
FORMAT
According to Regular Season 2016/17, the teams from 12°to 14°place (Padova, Sora and Milano) together with rookie team BCC Castellana Grotte start from the 16th final. The winners will play together 5° ’til 11° place teams (Verona, Piacenza, Monza, Vibo Valentia, Ravenna and Latina) in the 8th final. The four winners will play versus the top four teams of last Superleague season, Civitanova, Trento, Perugia and Modena in the Quarterfinals which will take place next 18th october. The winners will advance to the Del Monte Italian Cup Final four next 27th and 28th october 2018.
