Cucine Lube Civitanova clearly won Game 1. Gianlorenzo Blengini’s team defeated more or less easily Diatec Trentino, a clear 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-17) which says alot about the moment of shape of Lube, considering that Trento came from a great win last saturday in Game 5 versus Sir Safety Perugia. Civitanova dominated the game since the start, staying perfect at Eurosuole Forum, 17 wins in 17 games in this season), perfect in all fundamentals, reception, defence (great performances by Jiri Kovar and Jenna Grebennikov), serve and blocks, being great in attack with Tsvetan Sokolov and Osmany Juantorena, with Micah Christenson perfect in making plays for all his team. lLorenzetti trid to change something putting on court Daniele Mazzone and Gabriele Nelli, but Lube was inspired, winning easily the first set 25-18. Now, 1-0 in the final series, Lube will face another great challenge next saturday at PalaLottomatica in Roma at 19.30, in the Dhl Champions League Semifinal, versus the hosting team Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia, recently eliminated by Trento in Superleague Semifinal. Game 2 of Superleague Final will take place next thirsday 4th may at PalaTrento.
