Cucine Lube Civitanova stepped on the top of the world. Ferdinando De Giorgi’s team earned the title of World Champions in Betim, Brasil, defeating the home idols Sada Cruzeiro in an heartbeat final. It was an outstanding performance for captain Osmany Juantorena and Yoandy Leal, both with 20 points and both stepping up in the crunch time of the game, especially in third and fourth set. With this win Cucine Lube Civitanova sealed the triple crown in the year, with italian Championship, european Championship and world Championship in 2019, a great performance for all the team and all the players in this and in the previous season.
