Weekend of total volleyball at Candy Arena, with two sold outs in a row, after the sellout crowd of saturday for Saugella Team Monza versus Igor Gorgonzola Novara, it’s big time on sunday with Vero Volley facing the defending champs Sir Safety Conad Perugia.
But not so many smiles for Monza in the game. Perugia put on the ground his power and won clearly the game, despite a good offensive game for Monza’s Dzavoronok, best scorer for Fabio Soli’s team with 13 points. Lorenzo Bernardi’s team was strong and terrific whith his 1-2 Punch, Aleksandar Atanasijevic, 16 points, and Wilfredo Leon, 13, well setted by playmaker Luciano De Cecco, MVP of the game. Another convincing performance for the defending champs, who’s playing probably his best volleyball of the season, looking forward next important Superleague and Champions League game.
