It was in Perugia that he met and worked with Luigi Banella, head of the youth sector of the biancoblu club. Who talks about him like this: “We have known each other for twenty years, he is an expert and prepared person. I know his talents and qualities very well. We started working together in 2004 in Perugia, and in two years we managed to get to the Scudetto final with the Under 18. It was a team in which Ivan Zaytsev played and there were many other players who then played in Serie A. I think that he is the right person to make a youth sector grow, he is attentive and prepared, he is a very present person who will also be useful for all our technicians in the youth sector “.
Fammelume, together with Banella, has already made a first meeting with the coaches of the youth sector of Emma Villas Volley. Banella again: “Fammelume – he says – will be a fundamental figure for us. The coaches have already spoken with him, and it was a meeting with good feedback. Another necessary element to be able to grow are the training facilities for our kids. The results we achieved this year were also good, we need to move forward in this direction “.
Alessandro Fammelume has therefore already started his work. “With Emma Villas Volley – he declares – there had already been contacts in the past. We have known each other for a long time with Luigi Banella. Now there has been the opportunity to formalize this agreement. I gladly accepted this proposal, both for the link with Gigi and for the fact that we are talking about a company that plays in the Super League, therefore in the elite of the twelve best teams in Italy. I know that as far as the youth sector is concerned, there is a plant engineering situation that needs improvement. As for the technical side, we have already drawn some guidelines to follow, we will have to work hard to be able to improve.
