Big final in Cuneo

A new battle is about to begin and once again the Cuneo sports hall will be the protagonist; at 18.00 the men’s A2 series of Cuneo Volley will take the field against Reggio Emilia for Race 1 of the Play Off Final, a place in the Super League is up for grabs.

Last year the biancoblù had reached the semifinal, this year the boys of coach Serniotti are thrilled to play the Final. The opponent is anything but easy, but it is also true that you know him well and the desire to get rid of that pebble from the Italian Cup is there. However, the focus is on the group and their game which is the most important thing, what Banca Alpi Marittime Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo has well fixed is the final goal and being able to start the series at home is an enormous fortune from the great potential.

Game 2 was postponed to Thursday 19th in Reggio Emilia due to unavailability of the field, while Game 3 remains unchanged on Saturday 21st at 20.30 in Cuneo; if the series is extended, Race 4 will also be postponed to Thursday.

A few hours before the match, the words of the director from Cuneo Matteo Pedron: “Tonight another battle awaits us. They are a strong team, which can boast a roster of excellent players and they proved it by winning three out of three finals; they are a group that never gives up, they fight ball on ball and are playing excellent volleyball. It will not be an easy match for us, we should have patience and always stay focused, knowing that it will not be easy. The week that has just ended went well, we trained at an excellent level and we can’t wait to start playing this Final ».
