The Del Monte® SuperLega 2022 Super Cup will be played in Cagliari.

The event will be held at PalaPirastu, organized by the Serie A Volleyball League together with the FIPAV Sardinia Regional Committee, the Sardinia Region and the Municipality of Cagliari.

The first official event of the 2022/23 season will take place on Monday 31 October and Tuesday 1 November.

The match will see Cucine Lube Civitanova – Modena Volley and Sir Safety Susa Perugia – Itas Trentino engaged in the Semifinals on Monday. On the holiday of Tuesday 1 November, the final for the cup between the two winners.

The four clubs involved in the Final Four will not play the fifth first leg of the Regular Season SuperLega Credem Banca, scheduled for Sunday 30 October, but will have already moved to Sardinia for the dispute of the event.

The top club have been absent from Sardinia since November 1, 2011, when Rado Stoytchev’s Itas Diatec Trentino won 3-1 against Flavio Gulinelli’s Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo. Jan Stokr was the Del Monte® MVP while with the Piedmontese shirt the Brazilian Vissotto with 28 points established himself as the best scorer of the match.
