Marco Vitelli is the new signing from Milan in place 3 for the 2022/23 championship. A two-year agreement was signed between the Abruzzo power plant and the company of president Lucio Fusaro.
Born in Atessa (CH) on 4 April 1996, Vitelli grew up in volleyball in AS Teate Volley Chieti and then joined the Lube youth academy with which he made his debut in the A1 series in the 2013/14 season. In September 2015 he participated in the Under 21 World Championship with the Italian national team, to land on loan at Exprivia Molfetta in 2016/17. In the following season he moved to the Bunge Ravenna with which he won the Challenge Cup. The following two seasons (2018/19, 2019/20) the central from Abruzzo disputes them with the Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia tuna shirt; the last two championships he wore the shirt of Kioene Padova. In his career he has so far played 207 games in the top flight, collecting 851 points.
