Third week of preparation with the arrival of Osniel Mergarejo and coach Roberto Piazza for Allianz Powervolley Milano in view of the start of the new 2022-2023 season. The Milanese club welcomes back into the group the head coach and the Cuban spiker, both returning from the round of 16 of the World Championship.

The Caribbean athlete has regularly held the training session with his teammates and is ready to make his contribution in the few weeks that separate the team from the official start of the season. The team is thus almost complete, except for the transalpine opposite Jean Patry, who together with the scoutman Paolo Perrone will face the Azzurri in the quarter-finals of the world championship with the French national team. A commitment that also involves the Argentine central Agustin Loser who, after the victory over Serbia, will face Brazil. In the short term, however, the return of Milad Ebadipour and Yuki Ishikawa, who also came out of the World Cup in the round of 16 with Brazil and France respectively, is expected.

The work of the staff continues at a fast pace and the coming weeks will be important for the Milanese in the face of the pre-season commitments useful to test the work done so far and the group dynamics that have been created.
