The acquisition campaign of Maury’s Com Cavi Tuscania continues in view of the next A3 championship. To strengthen the place 3 comes from Portomaggiore Samuele Aprile, twenty-five, a native of Cinquefrondi (RC). The young central, 197 cm tall, made his debut in A2 in 2018 with Conad Lamezia and then played the following three seasons respectively with Alessano, Porto Viro and Portomaggiore.
In the 2020/21 season he won the championship with Portoviro’s rosanero and last season he showed off by scoring 60 blocks and attacking with a positivity of 58%.
Off the pitch, Samuele graduated in 2020 in Sports Science with a thesis on “Functional re-education of the shoulder”.
Why the decision to land in Tuscania?
“I am very happy to have chosen Tuscania, my decision was very clear and decisive right from the start, certainly dictated by the strong solidity and ambition of the club, in practice I signed immediately without waiting for other teams”.
Did you already know Coach Passaro?
“Only by sight having played against us in the past years but I know that he is very prepared and professional, without neglecting the profound human skills that distinguish him from what they tell me”.
What are your goals for next year?
“Those of doing the best possible to win. I’m looking forward to meeting the fans they’ve talked to me about very well, on and off the pitch.”
