After the experience in Aversa, you stay in Campania to marry the Folgore Massa project. How easy was it to convince you, and what prompted you to choose the green-white colors?
“I do not hide the fact that various offers arrived on my table, but for many reasons it was very easy for me to tie myself to the Folgore. There has always been a splendid relationship with sporting director Ruggiero, and we had already had several contacts in the past, both in the youth sector and in the early years of Serie B. In addition, I have the opportunity to play close to home: this makes me feel these colors more strongly, and I am really proud of the opportunity that has been granted to me. The club has built a competitive roster, with many guys eager to grow and improve, and choosing the Sorrento coast was all too easy.
Have you already got to know the coach? What did you say to each other?
“I have spoken several times by telephone with coach Esposito. I can’t wait to start working with him: it will be an excellent season from a personal point of view, to improve all those aspects that we have begun to analyze together “.
Can you roughly describe your characteristics to the Folgore fans?
“I consider myself a strong player from a mental and psychological point of view, and within a cohesive group I am able to express myself to my full potential. I am a rather physical athlete, very stubborn, and ready to get to work to polish some aspects of my game especially as regards reception, block and second line. “
