Each Pool includes a total of six matches divided between first and second legs: closing on 17 January 2024. President Elisabetta Curti’s club is participating in the CEV Volleyball Champions League for the first time, a right won by winning the 3rd-4th place final last season.

Two welcome guests at tomorrow’s race: the Colorado cabaret artist Gianluca Impastato who will be in the stands to cheer for the red and whites thanks to the collaboration with Baldini Giampiero’s HPI Event and the Panificio Devoti of Carpaneto and Marco Bianchi Food mentor, author and popularizer for the Veronesi Foundation who, in love with the Piacenza hills, opened a home restaurant and a botanical garden with animals for children with disabilities in Rezzanello, a stone’s throw from Piacenza.

Andrea Anastasi (Gas Sales Daiko Piacenza coach): “Given that we are proud to be able to participate in such a high level event, we will face a team that is really strong in all fundamentals and with players we know well. In addition to Ngapeth and Nimir who we know well, in the director’s room they have a very strong player who is also the second in the American national team and then there is Perrin who everyone in Italy also knows well. Ankara is a team that defends very well and is strong at bat, coached by a great friend and good coach such as Kovac, we are ready for this new battle knowing that we can have our say. It is an event that we care about a lot and we will honor it as best we can.”
