Del Monte® Coppa Italia SuperLega today stopped at the headquarters of Confapi Industria Piacenza. The trophy won by Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza in Rome, in front of over eleven thousand spectators and the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, was brought by a delegation of the red and white team led by President Elisabetta Curti and made up of players Yuri Romanò, Leonardo Scaferà and Enrico Cester.
To welcome the red and white delegation in the meeting room of Confapi Industria Piacenza Giacomo Ponginibbi and Andrea Paparo respectively President and Director of Confapi Industria Piacenza. There is also a representation of associated companies.
“Award for the extraordinary result achieved and for what has been done for our city”: this is what is written on the plaque that Confapi Industria Piacenza presented to Elisabetta Curti, President of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza as well as vice president of Confapi Industria Piacenza, and to the players present.
“We are very proud – said Giacomo Ponginibbi – because you have achieved a historic result, the compliments go to all the staff, but above all to you players who represent excellence for our territory”.
For Andrea Paparo this Trophy won is “an excellence in a sporting environment to be valued and also for this reason as Confapi Industria Piacenza we appeal to entrepreneurs so that, where the conditions exist, they support local sport. And the Public Bodies should do the same, within the permitted limits”.
Elisabetta Curti, recalling that Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza is the only team to carry the Piacenza name around Italy and Europe, thanked Confapi Industria Piacenza which “supports Piacenza sport and also gives great support to volleyball , sport is also aggregation, it manages to unite and creates communities”.
