Delicate and prestigious test match for Emma Villas Volley Siena scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at the PalaBarton in Perugia, starting at 5 pm. It will be another stage of approach to the Serie A2 championship for the team trained by coach Gianluca Graziosi, who already in during this pre-season they challenged Santa Croce and Ravenna, two teams that they will meet in the next A2 championship. Interesting indications have arrived for the Sienese team, who managed to win both test matches played against teams who have the ambition of doing very well in the next volleyball tournament.

In the pre-season, the matches between Perugia and Siena are “usual”, two teams that often face each other in the lead-up to the tournament. Emma Villas Villas continues in its phase of growth and formation of group chemistry. Marco Pierotti continues on his recovery journey and receives daily attention with the aim of having him available in the shortest possible time. Perugia will be on the pitch tomorrow afternoon without Leon, Giannelli and all the athletes who were involved in the European Championship which recently ended with the final in Rome between Italy and Poland.

The countdown has already started in view of the seasonal debut of the Sienese team, which will be on October 15th in Abruzzo, in Ortona. Emma Villas will have another commitment on the field over the weekend, with the quadrangular which will be played in Tortoreto, Abruzzo, and which will see coach Gianluca Graziosi’s team, Fano, Ravenna and Prata involved.

We will then enter the month of October, the month of the start of the championship. Before the start of the tournament there will be space for two more friendlies for the white and blues, and both will be played away: on October 1st the Sienese will go to Ravenna where they will face the Emilian team again.

On 8 October, exactly one week from the start of the A2 tournament, there will be another away match on the calendar for coach Gianluca Graziosi’s team: a shorter distance away match, Emma Villas will go to Santa Croce sull’Arno where he will challenge the local red and whites.
