Federico Bonacchi, a very young Milanese setter born in 2004, who will be the backup setter of Gioiella Prisma Taranto answers some questions in which he describes himself with a view to joining the team soon at the end of August.

The young Bonacchi does not look too far ahead, he lives in the present and sees Taranto in his immediate future, while simultaneously cultivating his passion for the economy.

1. What are your dreams and aspirations for the future?

Being able to learn as much as possible from the coach and more experienced teammates, give my contribution in training and even in the match if I’m called into question.

2. Do you already know Trinidad de Haro the starting setter? What do you think you can learn from him?

Yes, I know him, I’ve followed the foreign championships and I think that having won a prestigious championship like the German one, De Haro is certainly used to managing the pressure of the most important matches. His experience and technical qualities will be an important stimulus for me to improve myself.

3. What are your hobbies? Are you studying to enter any university?

My hobbies are listening to music, watching movies and I like sports in general. I have some ideas about my studies but I haven’t started university yet.

4.What would you do if you weren’t a professional athlete?

I’ve always liked the idea of being in the sports world, so I’d also like to be a coach, but at the same time I like economics, so also the fact of continuing my studies in economics to then build a future on the non- that would be bad.

5. How do you like the team and the general framework of the Superleague?

In my opinion Taranto can be the surprise of the championship, certainly many other teams have also strengthened but I believe that with the right spirit and desire to do without ever giving up and also counting on the experience of many players we will be able to assert ourselves and demonstrate it on the court.
