Francesco Comparoni will be one of the middle blockers of the Vero Volley Monza 2023/2024. Born in Parma in 2001, Comparoni is one of the most interesting prospects in the national volleyball scene in his role. Best centre-back in the 2021 Under-21 European Championship, second best blocker in the last season of Serie A2, one of the most positive in the entire championship, the athlete owned by the Vero Volley Consortium, who will be in the department together with Thomas Beretta, Gianluca Galassi and Gabriele Di Martino, is ready to experience a season in Italy, in SuperLega Credem Banca, and Europe, in the CEV Challenge Cup 2024.

Back from two excellent seasons in Ravenna, a club that borrowed him from Vero Volley in the 2021/2022 football season, Comparoni grew up in the youth sector of Energy Volley Parma, where he played in both youth competitions and Serie A D. In the 2019-2020 season he moved to Zephyr La Spezia in the men’s Serie B, a formation with which he stood out in the league, also interesting, with his performances, the men’s Under 21 national team coach Angiolino Frigoni who called up in June 2021 for a collegiate training session for the next World Cup in his category. In 2022 he graduated as European Champion with the Under 22 team, also being awarded as the best centre-back of the event.

Among the curiosities concerning him, Comparoni is currently engaged with Vincenzo Fanizza’s Italy in the “International Tournament of the 2 Seas”.
