Geetit Bologna of the future continues to take shape with the entry of a fundamental pawn.
The RossoBlù club entrusts the game for the 23/24 season to the skilled hands of setter Alllessio Sitti. After 4 years in the Erm Group San Giustino jersey, the 96′ class originally from Ortona enthusiastically accepted the proposal from Bologna. “I am very happy to come to Bologna, in a club that wants to grow and improve on last year’s already good result.”
Raised sportingly in Volleyball Ortona and married to Cucine Lube in the SuperLega in the 2014/2015 vintage, in recent years he has played for the team from Perugia, winning promotion from Serie B in the 2021/2022 vintage and touching the playoffs in the season just concluded.
That Geetit wants to push on the accelerator and has ambitious goals in its sights is now known but it is also from the words of the new director from Abruzzo that one perceives how much the upcoming season will entertain the audience of the PalaSavena in Bologna. “First of all, I spoke with the Coach who conveyed to me the club’s desire to aim high. I know some guys who have worked with the coaching staff and they have spoken highly of them to me. This is certainly one of the reasons that prompted me to accept Geetit’s proposal”.
