Captain Leonardo Puliti talks about Moyashi Garlasco’s moment after the success in 4 sets with Sol Lucernari Montecchio Maggiore. After four consecutive stops, in the last two rounds Moyashi managed to overturn the result of the first leg with Belluno and Montecchio and has now launched a run-up to fifth place, currently occupied by the Belluno team at 30 points (Garlasco at -2).

The Umbrian hammer explains how the match with Montecchio reinvigorated his team’s enthusiasm: “We are very satisfied with the result. The 3 full points are very useful and damage morale in view of the next matches. We are called to work further on aspects of our game in which we have been in deficit during the last outings, but we are all very confident and ready for the next races”.

The next matches will see Moyashi fight against formations on which she has already managed to impose herself in the first round, but the result is by no means obvious: “Interesting clashes await us, the first with Mirandola. It’s a match within our reach, we can score points and we’ll work towards this goal in the gym. The race with Macerata awaits us too, which will certainly be as difficult as it is important. Replicating the result of the first leg is certainly not obvious given their period of form… but this season has taught us right from the start that every game has great surprises in store and you need to be ready to take advantage of the right opportunities”.

The neroverde captain looks ahead to the appointments of the last 7 matches of the regular season, in which the Lomellini cannot afford missteps if they want to regain the fifth place conquered at the end of the first round: “For this last part of the regular season it will be very important to manage workloads and physical fatigue. From a technical point of view, however, we must continue to grow in numbers: implement the effectiveness of our service, both in management within the match and in terms of incisiveness on an individual level. This fundamental will certainly help our game system to make yet another leap forward in quality and provide us with more certainty in the match”. According to the captain, the growth and balance of the black and green game will therefore pass from 9 metres. A growth in which the lomellini will have to demonstrate that they are not subjected to the psychological pressure of the obligatory result and in which, on the contrary, they can surprise even in the most uncertain matches that await them.
