Another young player enters Consar’s staff for the next A2 championship. We are talking about Jan Feri, a 194cm spiker, born in Gorizia on 1 February 2004, in the Battocchio Junior national team, with whom he took a collegiate season in May and in which he hopes to return as soon as the high school final exams are completed scientific.
Raised in the youth teams of OK Val Gorizia, a club of which his father Ales was captain in B1, he played two years with his city club in C and two seasons in B with CCR Il Pozzo Pradamano. For a glimpse of the season he played on loan in the Under 19 of Tinet Prata, with which he won the regional title and participated in the national final in Agropoli “touching” Consar.
“There couldn’t have been a better opportunity for me at this point in my career – Feri admits – both because Ravenna is a splendid place to play volleyball and because the club’s youth project seems to me to be suitable for my growth and improvement needs. The first phone call with coach Bonitta was very clear on the directions and objectives to be achieved. I have heard very good things about Bonitta and the talks with him confirmed what I had been told: with him I will certainly improve from all points of view”.
In Ravenna Feri will find Bovolenta, Orioli and Bartolucci as teammates with whom he shares the experience in blue. “There was a chat and they confirmed to me that I made the right choice. Even my attorney, when the opportunity in Ravenna materialized, did not hesitate to push me towards this choice. I am ready to make myself available to the group and the coach and to repay the trust that has been placed in me.”
