The 2023/24 sports season for Farmitalia Saturnia is in progress and to know all the details we will have to wait for the first half of June, when the Board of Directors of the Serie A Volleyball League will ratify the procedures for transferring titles, procedures which will also include of the blue-and-white club which, following the request of the League, evaluated the possibility of making the investment to participate in the SuperLega, as the president Luigi Pulvirenti recounted this morning at a press conference: “I was contacted by the League the day after the promotion to A2 and , following the unavailability of Tonno Callipo Volley Vibo Valentia, we were offered to take over for free. In fact, it is important to underline that we are not buying a title, but when the procedure is finalized there will be a free transfer. With Tonno Callipo we signed the joint declaration sent to the League. The deadline for submitting transfer applications is June 6, from that moment the board of directors will have to ratify them within five days. We are waiting with confidence, because we have complied with all the formal steps, including the procedures for increasing the share capital and for the bank guarantee to be deposited. We moved promptly, after the request for availability arrived”.

The coming season therefore has all the prerequisites for being an exciting season, as emerged this morning at the press conference at the Yachting Club of Catania with Andrea Lodato, the new marketing director of Saturnia, who gave life to a debate which was attended by, in addition to the president Pulvirenti, the sole administrator of Farmitalia and Title sponsor for next season, Fabio Scaccia, the new mayor of Catania, Enrico Trantino and the president of the Yachting Club and designated councilor, Sergio Parisi; in the audience to support the Saturnia project with his presence the vice president of the Sicilian Region and Councilor for Agriculture Luca Sammartino and the regional councilor for Economy Marco Falcone.
