The event, organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A, marks a crucial step toward the new season, as it does every summer, with refresher courses, organizational meetings, and final preparations for the championship.

Among the official changes is the jersey numbering that will accompany the team in the upcoming Credem Banca Serie A3 championship. Setter Stefano Schettino will wear the number 1 jersey, opposite hitter Leonardo Rocca will wear the number 2 jersey, middle blocker Carmelo Gitto will wear the number 4 jersey, hammer hitter Pietro Carrera will wear the number 5 jersey, opposite hitter Alessandro Serangeli will wear the number 10 jersey, spiker Simone Orto will wear the number 11 jersey, setter Filippo Guerriero will wear the number 14 jersey, libero Andrea Rondoni will wear the number 15 jersey, Hungarian spiker Bálint Kecskemét will wear the number 16 jersey, middle blocker Armando De Vito will wear the number 18 jersey, middle blocker Armando Carotti will wear the number 22 jersey, and libero Louis Caccioppola will wear the number 29 jersey.

The Pontine club also recently received final confirmation of its admission to the 2026-2027 championship, with its registration accepted by the League.

The team will be led by Michele Totire, a highly experienced coach who returns to the Serie A3 bench after a rich career at the highest levels of Italian volleyball. The club has entrusted him with the task of leading a profoundly revamped team, built with the goal of providing continuity to the club’s growth and consolidating Sabaudia’s role on the national scene.
