Serie A2 is also taking shape off the court. Belluno Volley, returning to the second national division after thirty-six years, is leading the way in the first official events of the new season. The blue-and-white club is present at the Volley Mercato, the traditional three-day event organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, just outside Bologna. This event brings together clubs, managers, and industry professionals in preparation for the 2026-2027 championship. Representing the Rhinos are Commercial Director Gian Luca Schmidt and Sporting Director Alessandro Carniel, who are engaged in various discussions and updates promoted by the League.
MEETINGS – The opening day was dedicated to the presentation of the new Lega Pallavolo Serie A website and the consultation session for Serie A2 clubs. There was also time to delve into the topic of athlete protection with the meeting “Safeguarding in Sport: Case Studies and the Role of Managers,” led by Alessandro Avagliano, president of the Fipav Safeguarding Office.
JERSEY NUMBERS – Today, however, was the moment of the official presentation of the rosters of all the Serie A clubs. Belluno Volley also revealed its roster, as well as the numbering it will wear for the next championship. The numbers already worn last year by Matteo Mozzato (2), Filippo Bortoletto (7), Enrico Basso (8), Francesco Corrado (10) and Giovanni Tosatto (16) have been confirmed. As for the new arrivals, Calogero Tulone will wear the number 1 jersey, Karli Allik the number 3, Pietro Melato the number 5, Nicola Iannelli the number 9, Andrea Baldi the number 11, Andrea Zanotti the number 12, Marco Cantagalli the number 15 and Andrea Polacco the number 17.
