The player who will complete the ErmGroup Altotevere setter roster for the upcoming Credem Banca Serie A3 championship comes from Arezzo. His name is Gabriele Luatti, who turned 22 last April and for the first time in his playing career, he’s taking off the black and red jersey of the Arezzo Volleyball Academy, the club where he grew up and progressed from the Under 13 to the Under 19 level. With the senior team, he then played four Serie C championships and one Serie B championship, his last one, securing survival after promotion the previous year. He’s now making another step up in the league, and has the experienced Alessandro Bellucci as his new teammate. “I’m delighted to have received the call from Altotevere,” Luatti commented, “and I couldn’t help but accept. In two years, I’ve gone from Serie C to Serie B and from Serie B to Serie A3: now I’m ready to prove myself and improve. I know the club and the San Giustino environment very well, given the many joint training sessions we’ve had together over the years: enough to have a good idea.”
