Daniel Iyegbekedo will wear the Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza jersey again next season. After leaving the red and white team a few weeks ago to return to France, the young red and white middle blocker returns to Piacenza to once again be a key player in the red and white jersey.
Born in 2007, Daniel Iyegbekedo, 2.8 meters tall, trained for a few days last December at the PalabancaSport under coach Dante Boninfante thanks to the France Avenir project, a sort of French Club Italia, which offers its young talents the opportunity to train abroad during the holidays. Then, in January 2026, he arrived in Piacenza to fill in for the absences of Robertlandy Simon and Gianluca Galassi and finish the season under Boninfante.
