The role of second coach on the bench of the men’s Serie A2 of Cuneo Volley has been confirmed for Lorenzo Gallesio, who will support coach Battocchio as well as the new athletic trainer, Lorenzo Giraudo; a former volleyball player born and raised in Cuneo, he returns to the Biancoblù Club in a different capacity, after having gained skills and experience.
« I’m very happy to have the two Lorenzos by my side on the staff. I was able to exchange ideas with both of them and find a “hunger” for growth and a willingness to do well by working hard. I think they have excellent skills, each in their own field, but above all I appreciated the humility of the people, a feature that is not taken for granted and very useful for building a career path. We are building a staff that I am sure will be able to make the most of the efforts of clubs and players.” – these are the first impressions of coach Matteo Battocchio on two of his collaborators in the next season in Cuneo.
