After the debut at the limit of perfection, with the 3-0 home victory against Stadium Mirandola on the first day, it is time for the first away match of the season for Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano, who in the second round of the Girone Bianco of the Serie A3 Credem Banca will make visit to Gabbiano Top Team Mantua. It will be played on Saturday 21 October at 5pm.
The opponent. It is difficult to talk about Gabbiano Top Team Mantova, because the Lombards are the only team in the group that have not yet played, having immediately served the rest period, and because they are an absolute novelty, having obtained promotion to Serie A3 Credem Banca in last season. Despite being newly promoted, however, the team coached by coach Simone Serafini has all it takes to have a high-level championship, also thanks to the summer additions. This is demonstrated by the seven successes in eight pre-season matches, with the only defeat suffered against Reggio Emilia, a superior category team. Among the new faces, Marco Novello, born in 2002, stands out, opposed by 445 points last season with the noble shirt of Da Rold Logistics Belluno.
Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano here. Despite the strength of the opponent, there is a desire to continue racing in the Biancoblu home, with coach Lorenzo Simeon’s boys certainly galvanized by the great success achieved on their debut in front of their own fans. The Palasguaitzer match, however, will be a completely different match, as spiker Andrea Galaverna explains: “We will visit a team making their debut, which arrives at this start with many motivations: they are in their first season in the category, they have had a week of waiting moreover, they will take to the field immediately in front of the friendly public, which I imagine will be “very hot”. We will have to be good at attacking the match immediately, trying to bring out our best fundamentals immediately, such as the serve.”
