Vero Volley Monza has left for Perugia, where tomorrow, Saturday 13 May, at 7.30 pm (live at volleyballworld.tv), it will take the field at the Palabarton, against the hosts of Sir Safety Susa, for the Final (single match) of Play Offs 5th place SuperLega Credem Banca 22/23. Whoever wins flies to Europe next sporting season, more precisely in the third European cup in order of importance: the CEV Challenge Cup.

Beretta and his companions, last season’s winners of the CEV Cup (second most important cup thanks to the double success against the French side of Tours in the Final), eliminated Padova in the Semifinal after having played a fabulous Group: second position achieved out of five participating teams and one only defeat remedied, out of four matches played, against Perugia, in Lombardy, for 3-0. But the determination of the Monzesi, seen in the last matches (3-2 success in Emilia against Modena, Padova at home and Verona away 3-0), can give hope for a more balanced confrontation, with a Vero Volleyball, in the second Final in this competition after the victory in 2017/2018 against Padova, really motivated to try until the end. Choral performance and great intensity between attack and service, were the qualities that Eccheli’s team successfully showed in this post season. The coach from Lombardy, who in the last match played (against Padova at home last Sunday) lined up Fernando Kreling as playmaker and Grozer as opposite, Galassi and Di Martino as central players, Davyskiba and Maar as spikers with Federici as libero, opting for the double substitution in the first two sets Zimmermann-Szwarc and inserting Marttila on 24 of the third author of the last point, he will be able to count on his entire roster.
