Cisterna Volley will also be present in the fifth edition of the Invictus Sports Literary Prize, the most important national sports literature event in Italy. The Invictus prize, in fact, was chosen, together with the Strega Prize and Lucca Comics, to represent Italy at the Frankfurt Book Fair, the most important event in the world. This is a unique award on the national scene, as it awards the five finalists a prize pool for both the author and the publishing house, and in addition to the five winners it also rewards six other authors with Extra Invictus mentions.
The award show will take place on three different dates, with the first appointment taking place on September 10th at 10.30am, in the splendid setting of the historic Palazzo Caetani, for the first “Invictus School” event, where the center back Jacopo Tosti will be awarded , new under 17 World champion, as “Revelation Athlete of the Year”. Cisterna Volley will also be present on the final day, 12 September at 6.30 pm, where on the occasion of the final, again at the Court of Palazzo Caetani in Cisterna di Latina, the French opposite player Théo Faure will be rewarded with the recognition of ” Athlete of the Year”.
THE INVICUTS AWARD, INFO – Invictus is a sports literature award created and organized by the Lab DFG publishing house. Born in 2020, the initiative is organized in partnership with the Ministry for Sport and Youth and the support of the Lazio Region, the Municipality of Cisterna di Latina, the Roffredo Caetani Foundation and the Italian Publishers Association. Invictus’ mission is a commitment to recognizing and rewarding original literary works that capture the essence of the sporting experience.
